Hi Or Hey Records is a record label in partnership with Capitol Records created by Australian pop-rock, pop-punk band 5 Seconds of Summer. The name for the label was chosen via a fan vote on Twitter on the 22nd January, 2014.[1]
On January 27th, 2014, 5SOS announced that Hi Or Hey Records was the winning label name.[2] On the "Hi Or Hey Records" website, the band explained that not only would they be releasing all of their music through “Hi Or Hey Records” in conjunction with Capitol Records, but they would also be signing a roster of their own bands and releasing them via the label.[3]
On March 24th, 2015, the label signed pop rock band Hey Violet.[4]
