Heydon Prowse
Heydon Prowse (born 1981) is a British activist, satirist and comedian. He is best known for writing and performing in BBC Three's The Revolution Will Be Televised alongside Jolyon Rubinstein.[1]
He was educated at King Alfred School, London and the University of Sussex where he studied philosophy, graduating in 2004.[2][3] As a schoolboy he played Colin Craven in the 1993 film The Secret Garden.[4]
For the UK general election in 2015, Prowse changed his name to Michael Green via deed poll in order to stand as an independent candidate against Grant Shapps in the Welwyn Hatfield constituency.[5] The name Michael Green is a reference to Shapps' pseudonym, which has attracted some controversy.
