Herbert R. Hunt

Herbert R. Hunt (1885-1961) was an American architect headquartered in Providence, Rhode Island. He was born in Lowell, Massachusetts, and was working as a draftsman by age 15.[1] He is first listed as an architect in Providence in 1915, living on the East side and renting office space Downtown. His most prominent surviving buildings are the O’Gorman Building, built in 1925, and the Rosedale Apartments in Cranston, built in 1939. Hunt retired in 1954 and died in 1961 at the age of 74.[1]
