Henrique Cavalcanti Rodrigues (born 4 February 1991, in Curitiba) is a Brazilian swimmer.[1]

He won the bronze medal in the 4×100-metre freestyle at the 2008 FINA Youth World Swimming Championships in Monterrey.[2]

Participating in 2009 World Aquatics Championships in Rome, Henrique finished 15th in the 200-metre individual medley,[3] and 33rd in the 400-metre individual medley.[4]

At the 2010 Pan Pacific Swimming Championships in Irvine, California, Rodrigues finished 5th in the 200-metre individual medley final.[5] He also finished 14th in the 100-metre freestyle.[6]

At the 2010 FINA World Swimming Championships (25 m) in Dubai, Rodrigues finished 4th in the 200-metre individual medley final,[7] and 8th in the 100-metre individual medley final.[8]

In 2010 he was in the World Military Games in Germany, winning the gold medal in the 200-metre individual medley.[9]

Disputing the 2011 World Aquatics Championships in Shanghai in China, Henrique reached the 200-metre individual medley semifinals, finishing in 14th place.[10]

At the 2011 Pan American Games, Rodrigues won gold in the 4×100-metre freestyle and bronze in the 200-metre individual medley.[11]

He competed in the 200-metre individual medley at the 2012 Summer Olympics and was eliminated in the semifinals, finishing 13th.[12][13]

At the 2013 World Aquatics Championships, in Barcelona, he finished 12th in the 200-metre individual medley.[14]

At the 2014 FINA World Swimming Championships (25 m) in Doha, Qatar, Rodrigues finished 4th in the Men's 200 metre individual medley,[15] 6th in the Men's 100 metre individual medley (breaking the South American record with a time of 52.20),[16] and 16th in the Men's 200 metre backstroke.[17][18] He also swam the heats of the Men's 4 × 100 metre freestyle relay.[19]
