The Hennops River is a small river in Gauteng Province, South Africa that passes through Centurion. It is part of the Crocodile River basin.[1]
The Rietvlei River is a right hand tributary of the Hennops River, which again is a tributary of the Crocodile River (Limpopo).
Tourist attractions
The valley of the river is a weekend and holiday destination for residents of the nearby cities. The banks of the Hennops are a popular location for hiking,[2] fishing, camping,[3] and picnicking. It is crossed by two small suspension bridges, one at Centurion Mall, and the other at Hennops Pride . There are also resorts and a 4x4 trail.[4]
