Hendrik Mentz DTD (1877–1938)[2] was a South African Party politician and South African Minister of Defence from 19 March 1920 to 29 June 1924.[3]
He served in the Second Boer War.[3]
The Strike Craft SAS Hendrik Mentz of the South African Navy was named after him.[4]
