Helmut Markwort

Helmut Markwort.

Helmut Markwort (born 8 December 1936 in Darmstadt) is a German journalist and from 1993 till 2010 Editor-in-Chief of the weekly newsmagazine Focus. He is a member of the liberal Free Democratic Party of Germany.^[1]

He has also contributed to the conservative newspaper Junge Freiheit.
