The single was released in two formats: the limited edition, which includes a bonus DVD featuring the music video for "Hello", and standard CD-only edition.[1] "Hello" was written and produced by T2ya, marking their third consecutive collaboration.[1] CDJournal described the song as a "lyrical and melancholy ballad."[2] Initially, the song "Ambition", which appears on Ueto's first album Ayaueto, was set to be released as the third single. However, "Hello" was chosen by Ueto instead.[3]

In addition to the title track and its instrumental version, the single includes three remixes. "Hello (Symphony Modulation Style)" was used in commercials for the Lotte ice cream Soh, starring Ueto.[1]
