Helen Atkinson

Helen Atkinson, CBE[1] FREng (born 29 April 1960) is Head of the Mechanics of Materials Group at the University of Leicester.[2] In 2010, she was designated one of the UKRC's Women of Outstanding Achievement[3] and featured in the Women of Outstanding Achievement Photographic Exhibition.

Professor Atkinson was elected a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering in 2007.
