On live shows, they are accompanied by Nikolaj Teinvig on guitar, Nicholas Findsen on bass, Mads Storm on keyboards and Peter Düring on drums.

Hej Matematik has done well on the Danish charts. Their debut album was Vi burde ses noget mere. The single "Walkmand" won the Danish "Hit of the Year" at Zulu Awards 2009 — an annual award-ceremony held by Denmark's largest commercial television station TV 2.[1] after the song made it to #3 in the Danish Singles Chart. The 11-track album was released in a special edition that included "Walkmand" as a 12th track as an additional bonus.

Hej Matematik's release of "Party i provinsen", the lead single of their second album,[2] reached #2 in the Danish Singles Chart. The album Alt går op i 6 was released in Denmark on 25 January 2010.[3]
