Heinz Nawratil (born 1937 in Suchdol nad Odrou, Czechoslovakia) is a German lawyer, legal author and human rights activist.

After World War II Nawratil settled in Bavaria, West Germany, where he grew up in Miesbach. He studied law, earned a doctorate and has been working as a civil law notary since 1970.[1] He was awarded the Förderpreis of the »Stiftung der Deutschen Gemeinden und Gemeindeverbände zur Förderung der Kommunalwissenschaften« in 1965. [2] He has written books on legal subjects which have been printed in over a million copies. He is also known for his research on the expulsion of Germans after World War II.
