Heinz Ehlers (born January 25, 1966) is a Danish former ice hockey player. He is currently the head coach of Lausanne HC in the Swiss National League A. Ehlers was selected by the New York Rangers in the 9th round (188th overall) of the 1984 NHL Entry Draft.
Ehlers played professionally in Europe for over 20 years, most notably in the Swedish Hockey League and Deutsche Eishockey Liga.[1]
His son, Nikolaj was selected 9th overall in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft by the Winnipeg Jets.
