Heinz Bauer (publisher)

Heinz Heinrich Bauer (October 28 1939 in Hamburg) is a German publisher. The descendant of the founding publisher Johann Andreas Ludolph Bauer who built the family business, the Bauer Media Group.

Life

After school, he trained as a compositor and Book Printer. (10% share) in a Heinrich Bauer KG | 1972 rose Bauer [Complementary] [complementary (Corporate)]. Since the death of his father Alfred Bauer 1984 Heinz Bauer has 96% of the shares. His fortune is estimated at about $ 1.6 billion; so he came in 2007 at number 32 of the list of the richest Germans.
