Heinrich Thorbecke
Heinrich Thorbecke (March 14, 1837 Meiningen - January 3, 1890 Mannheim) was a German Arabic scholar. His studies were directed mainly to the poetry of the Bedouin and the history of Arabic.
Biography
He studied at Munich and Leipzig. He was appointed professor at Heidelberg (1873) and at Halle (1875).
