Heinrich Körting

Heinrich Körting (1859–1890) was a German philologist, a brother of Gustav Körting. Like his brother, he was a Romance scholar. He was born in Leipzig, became privatdozent in 1885, and in 1889 professor at the University of Leipzig. He wrote:

• Bemerkungen über den Begriff und die Teile des grammatischen Satzes (1905)
• Adolf Turold, Roman (1906)
• Etymologisches Wörterbuch der französiche Sprache (1908)
• Etymologisches Lehr- und Fremdwörterbuch der deutsche Sprache (1910)
