Hebbe falls
Hebbe Falls (Kannada: ಹೆಬ್ಬೆ ಜಲಪಾತ) are situated at 13°32′29″N 75°43′30″E / 13.54139°N 75.72500°E / 13.54139; 75.72500 about 10 km away from the famous hill station Kemmangundi in Karnataka, India. This waterfalls are inside a coffee estate and can be reached either by walk or four-wheeler. Hebbe Falls gushes down from a height of 551 ft[1] in two stages to form Dodda Hebbe (Big Falls) and Chikka Hebbe (Small Falls.)
As of 30th Sept 2012, the falls remain closed due to a recent Supreme Court order banning tourism in tiger reserves.[2]
