Health City Cayman Islands is a medical tourism facility in the Cayman Islands, a British Overseas Territory.[1] The project is headed by Dr Devi Shetty of the Narayana Health group of hospitals in India. According to Dr Shetty, the hospital will provide affordable health care for individuals residing in the U.S, Canada, Caribbean and Latin American countries.[2]
The hospital is hoped by the Government of the Cayman Islands to be a key driver in diversification of the Cayman Islands economy,[3] and has gained its support.[4][5]
A medical school is also planned to be built on the site.[6]
