Hayward Gay Prom
The Hayward Gay Prom is one of the oldest continually running gay proms in the United States. The prom is sponsored by Project Eden,[1] a project of Horizon Services, and has taken place in Hayward, California every year since 1995. A documentary film on the prom, Now We Can Dance: The Story of the Hayward Gay Prom, was shown at the 2013 San Francisco International LGBT Film Festival[2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9][10] Attendees have come from out-of-county districts, and some from other states and the United Kingdom.[3]
