Hawaiite

Hawaiite is an olivine basalt with intermediate composition between alkali olivine and mugearite.[1] It was first described at the island of Hawaii. In gemology, hawaiite is a colloquial term for Hawaii-originated peridot, which is gem-quality olivine mineral.
