"Hawa Hawa" is the opening track and first single from SQS Supastars's 2010 album, Supastars. Upon release, "Hawa Hawa" debuted at #10 on Mirchi's Indipop TOP 10 chart; In the following weeks the track jumped to #1 and stayed on top for 10 weeks continuously.
The band performed Hawa Hawa at Femina Miss India 2011.
Music video
The video for the song features SQS Supastars and their journey before and after winning the competition. It was directed by Deb Madhekar.
Sanam Puri explains "We did Hawa Hawa based on the story of the competition. It is a very emotional video for us as it depicts our journey through Times Supastars. The video beautifully portrays our progress through the phases and how we went through makeover sessions and ultimately, our final moment of triumph. It brings out the first impression of the band."
