The Haverstraw Fire Department is a fully volunteer fire department comprising five semiautonomous companies who collectively respond to all alarms of fire, rescue and non-EMS related emergencies in the Village of Haverstraw in Rockland County, New York. They are designated "Department 4" on the county fire radio.

Organization
The Haverstraw Fire Department is governed by a Fire Council composed of one Chief Officer and four Assistant Chief Officers (one from each Company), who have command and control authority over all incidents the Department responds to and operates at.
