Haugating

The Haugating was a thing of medieval Norway, representing the county Vestfold. It served as a thing for the proclamation of kings in the regions around Vestfold, but was not as recognised nationally as the Øreting in Nidaros. The Haugating was seated at Haugar in Tønsberg.^[1]
