History
The town derives its name from its founder,Hasan Khan, who founded it in 1634 AD. The city is just 13 km from the National Highway 24. And the most popular place in the city is Dr. Bheem Rao Ambedkar Park from where the City starts. Hasanpur is about 120 km apart from The National Capital Delhi.Manapur Mohalla, Mohalla Holiwala, Mohalla Kayasthan, Lal Baagh Kankerwala kuan are some of the Most Popular place in City. Communal harmony is a striking feature of Hasanpur.

As of 2001 India census,[1] Hasanpur had a population of 1500000 of which males constituted 53% of the population and females 47%.
