Harun Mehmedinovic is a Bosnian American director, screenwriter, photographer, professor and author.[1] He is a graduate of UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television and American Film Institute. His film In the Name of the Son premiered at the Telluride Film Festival and went on to win over thirty international awards including Shanghai Film Festival.[2]

Harun is a photography contributor to Vogue Italia,[3] BBC Earth,[4] and has spoken at TED about his photography work.[5]

Harun wrote his first book, "Seance," in 2013, with a foreword by Aleksandar Hemon. In 2015, his second book "Persona," was released.

He teaches photography and film at Northern Arizona University.[6]
