Harry J. Smith (July 30, 1888 – November 1961) was an American long-distance runner. He competed in the marathon for the United States at the 1912 Summer Olympics. He finished in 17th place.[1] He was born in The Bronx, New York City, New York, United States. He is the father of Hart wrestling family matriarch Helen Hart.
