Harold Warp

Harold Warp (1903 – April 9, 1994) was an early plastics tycoon and the founder of Pioneer Village in Minden, Nebraska. Born in a sod house to an immigrant family from Norway, he was orphaned at age 11. In 1924, he moved to Chicago with $800 and a patent for "Flex-O-Glass," a plastic window material he developed. Warp Bros. is still in business today, and still under family ownership.

In Nebraska, Warp is best known as the founder of Pioneer Village in Minden, which has a collection of over 50,000 items.[1]
