Harold Baigent (16 November 1916 in New Zealand – 9 March 1996), was an actor who is perhaps best known for a memorable 246 word introductory monologue at the beginning of the 1981 film Mad Max 2.[1]

He also appeared in the 1981 film Gallipoli as a camel driver and he had many roles on television, including two characters in The Flying Doctors (1987–1991).
