Haris Sohail (Punjabi, Urdu: حارث سهيل; born 9 January 1989) is a Pakistani cricketer born in Sialkot, Pakistan. He is a left-arm orthodox bowler who bats left-handed. He has represented Sialkot Stallions, Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited cricket team and Sialkot cricket team.

In the President trophy, Pakistan First Class tournament, he played for Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited and scored 2nd highest runs (673) with 4 Centuries at the healthy average of (134.60)in 5 matches after Umar Amin (767 in 9 matches) of Port Qasim Authority.

He missed Faisal Bank t20 Super 8 tournament 2012–13 due to injury but returned for President's Trophy One Day Cup 2012–13. In the match against SNGPL, he made 99 runs in a close contest.

He was selected in the Pakistan squad for their 2012 T20 series in Sri Lanka.[2]

He was called up to the Pakistan test side for their 2013 tour to South Africa.[3] He made his debut for Pakistan on 19 July 2013 where he managed to score 26 runs.

Biography

Sohail belongs to Khatana family of Gujjars from Sialkot. He belongs to Punjabi speaking family. He did M.A Urdu from the University of Gujrat.
