Harirampur (community development block) is an administrative division in Gangarampur subdivision of Dakshin Dinajpur district in the Indian state of West Bengal. Harirampur police station serves this block. Headquarters of this block is at Harirampur.[1][2]

Harirampur is located at 25°22′27″N 88°16′04″E / 25.37425°N 88.267792°E.

Demographics

As per 2001 census, Harirampur block had a total population of 124,894, out of which 63552 were males and 61342 were females. Harirampur block registered a population growth of 24.70 per cent during the 1991-2001 decade. Decadal growth for the district was 22.11 per cent.[2] Decadal growth in West Bengal was 17.84 per cent.[4]
