Harinakunda (Bengali: হরিণাকুন্ড) is an Upazila of Jhenaidah District in the Division of Khulna, Bangladesh.
Geography
Harinakunda is located at 23°38′30″N 89°03′00″E / 23.6417°N 89.0500°E . It has 27408 units of house hold and total area 227.19 km².
Demographics
As of the 1991 Bangladesh census, Harinakunda has a population of 162078. Males constitute 51.57% of the population, and females 48.43%. This Upazila's eighteen up population is 79363. Harinakunda has an average literacy rate of 20.8% (7+ years), and the national average of 32.4% literate.[1]
