Hari Bhoomi

Established on 5th September 1996 HariBhoomi group (हरिभूमि) popular weekly Hindi (साप्ताहिक हिन्दी पत्रिका) language newspaper. Later in November 1997, this weekly newspaper was converted into Daily Newspaper (दैनिक हिन्दी अख़बार) and was launched in Haryana as HariBhoomi ‘Rohtak’ Edition. With this edition the newspaper covered news from the whole State of Haryana.

In April 1998 the media group started ‘Delhi’ Edition to cover news from the capital of India, and NCR region including Faridabad and Gurgaon. In March 2001 the group entered into the Chhattisgarh and started Bilaspur Edition, after which in June 2002 it started its office in Bilaspur and started its Raipur Edition. With the Raipur Edition HariBhoomi also covers parts of Orissa.

In October 2008 HariBhoomi Jabalpur Edition was launched in Madhya pradesh .later same year haribhoomi Raigarh Edition was launched in chattisgarh.

Readership

As per the figures of IRS 2012 (Indian Readership Survey) Q-IV (AIR) HariBhoomi is established as the 11th largest Hindi Daily in India. In Chhattisgarh it have AIR of 8,95,000 and in Madhya Pradesh 1,86,000 readers. In Haryana it got a total readership of 6,87,000 readers and an average issue readership of 2,45,000 readers. It has an average readership of 13,30,000 readers in the states where it is circulated and a total readership of 42,03,000 readers.

Other Publications

Apart from the newspaper HariBhoomi also offers different kinds of weekly magazines and multiple daily newspapers for different sections of people. These are Saheli for women (सहेली meaning friend), Balbhoomi for children (बालभूमि meaning the land of children), Manzil for youth (मंज़िल meaning destination), Ravivar Bharti (रविवार भारती meaning the Sunday brunch), Rangarang for entertainment (रंगारंग meaning colourful) and Choupal, a cultural magazine (चौपाल meaning the centre of the village).

Abhimanyu Sindhu is the founding proprietor and Editor-in-chief and Kulbir Chhikara is the Group Editor.[1]
