Hargen is one of the towns in the municipality of Bergen, North Holland.

De voormalige Hargerplas is ontstaan door zandafgravingen. Het zand werd vroeger gebruikt voor onder meer de glasindustrie, zandsteenfabrieken en stadsuitbreidingen.
