"Hard Enough Getting Over You" is the final song on the 1987 album Cher.[1] It was written by Michael Bolton and Doug James for Cher's comeback album after spending time on her acting career. The song was later covered by Laura Branigan who originally sang "I Found Someone" which Cher covered for the album.

Laura Branigan version

The song, retitled "It's Been Hard Enough Getting Over You", was covered by Laura Branigan for her 1993 album Over My Heart and was released as the second single. Branigan promoted the release with several television appearances including an interview on Good Day L.A. where she also performed the song live. However, despite of this the song, along with the other two singles and the album itself, was largely overlooked by critics and the general public.
