Harbin Electric Company Limited, formerly Harbin Power Equipment Company Limited (SEHK: 1133) is one of the largest manufacturers of power plant equipment in China. It was formed through the restructuring of Harbin Power Plant Equipment Corporation (currently Harbin Electric Corporation).[1] It was established in Harbin, Heilongjiang in 1994 and listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange at the same year. It is engaged in the research and development, manufacturing and construction of power plant equipment.[2]
