Hapoel Sakhnin (Hebrew: הפועל סכנין) is an Israeli football club based in Sakhnin. The club currently plays in Liga Bet.
History
The club was founded in 1965,[1] and played in he lower divisions of Israeli football, during which time the club was the starting point to the career of Zahi Armeli.[2] In 1991 the club joined forces with Maccabi Sakhnin to form Bnei Sakhnin. However, the club was soon reformed as a separate entity and maintained its position in the lower divisions.
