Hans Runemark

P. Hans B. Runemark (born January 7, 1927 in Chicago, U.S.A.)[1] is a Swedish botanist and lichenologist, emeritus professor at Lund University.

He graduated 1956 at Lund University.[2] He became professor of botany at Lund University 1958. He studied the flora of the Aegean Islands in Greece, became interested in island endemics.[3] and used the plants in the archipelago as a laboratory to study evolutionary processes in small plant populations.[4]
