Hannia is a monotypic genus of fish in the family Terapontidae containing the single species Hannia greenwayi. Common names include Greenway's grunter. It is endemic to Australia, where it is known only from the Hann River.[1]

Biology

The fish is omnivorous. The male guards and tends the eggs. The fish develops a pattern of dark bars across its body as a stress response.[1]
