Hanna Rose Hall (born July 9, 1984) is an American actress most commonly known for her roles in Halloween and The Virgin Suicides. Her acting talents allowed her to land her role in Forrest Gump in which she made famous the phrase "Run, Forrest! Run!"
Early life
Hall was born and raised in Colorado. Hall's family moved up to the mountains when she was two years-old.[1] She is most remembered as younger Jenny in Forest Gump starring Tom Hanks.
Career
Hall is mostly known for her roles in Forrest Gump, The Virgin Suicides, and the 2007 remake of Halloween.
When she was seven years-old, Hall attended Nina Axelrod's open casting call for Forrest Gump. A few callbacks later, Hall was eventually cast as young Jenny Curran.[1]
Hall screen tested for the role of Lux Lisbon in Sofia Coppola's film adaptation of The Virgin Suicides, but was considered too young for the part so she was cast as Cecilia Lisbon instead.[1]
Personal life
After her breakout roll in Forest Gump, Hanna as been doing films on and off through the years.
