Hanamaki-Kūkō Station (花巻空港駅 Hanamaki Kūkō-eki) is a railway station on the Tōhoku Main Line in Hanamaki, Iwate Prefecture, Japan, operated by East Japan Railway Company (JR East).

History

Hanamaki-Kūkō Station began as the Nimaibashi Signal on 17 July 1922 and was elevated to Nimaibashi Station (二枚橋駅 Nimaibashi-eki) on 20 November 1932. The station was renamed to its present name on 13 March 1988. The station was absorbed into the JR East network upon the privatization of the Japanese National Railways (JNR) on 1 April 1987.
