HITian Inside

In HIT the wind of change picked up its first course perhaps with the rise of the independent enterneurship, HITian Inside(They are affiliated to HIT Haldia/ source www.hithaldia.in), formed by Jishnu Samanta , 2nd Year Chemical Engg.( Now Third Year) , They aimed to build up a website ( yes they build it www.hitianinside.in) which would contain all the relevant information pertaining to student welfare - notice , event updates and even the last 5years question papers and current assignment questions of all DEPT. JOB NEWS ,etc. They welcome active student participation and provide a platform to hone their management skills.

Rang Milanti

Rang Milanti was formed to bring the cultural talents of Haldia Institute of Technology together and form the rainbow of creativity in the sky of academics. Formed in 2014 by a group of third-year students, Rang Milanti performed its first street opus, "Wings of Freedom", on women empowerment, and drew an amazing response. The motive of the group is to make the people aware about the various wrongs in our society and make them dream of a better world.

The cynic said, " Man is that social animal who cuts trees, manufactures paper from them and then writes SAVE TREES on them." In response to that, Rang Milanti decided to deliver the message on environmental awareness this time with the opus "THAT FABLE". Rang Milanti is not using any paper to induce awareness; instead it resorted to the three pillars of culture- music, dance and drama. "THAT FABLE" covers a story from the bleak future and makes the society dream of a world of green.

Teaching and research

A research centre of 1,000,000 square feet has been inaugurated in the campus.
