Hagan Evans is a Welsh rugby union and professional rugby league footballer of the 1940s, playing club level rugby union (RU) for Llanelli RFC, and playing representative level rugby league (RL) for Wales, and at club level for Bradford Northern, and Hull, as a Loose forward/Lock, i.e. number 13, in the era of contested scrums.[1]

International honours

Hagan Evans won 2 caps for Wales (RL) in 1947–1949 while at Bradford Northern and Hull.[2]

Challenge Cup final appearances

Hagan Evans played in Bradford Northern's 8–4 victory over Leeds in the 1946-47 Challenge Cup final at Wembley Stadium on Saturday 3 May 1947.

Family

Hagen Evans brother, Peter Evans, Captained Llanelli Rugby club and was capped twice by Wales as a Rugby Union player in 1951 against England and France
