HMS L53 was a British L class submarine built by Armstrong Whitworth, Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, but later transferred to HM Dockyard, Chatham for completion. She was laid down on 19 June 1917 and was commissioned on an unknown date.
HMS L53 was sold on 23 January 1939.
