HGST Travelstar

The Travelstar is a family of 2½-inch SATA Hard Disk Drives manufactured by HGST (Originally IBM and now a subsidiary of WD) mainly used with laptop computers and other mobile devices. Models are manufactured with capacities ranging from 250 GB to 1.5 TB, with rotational speeds of either 5400 RPM or 7200 RPM, and in either 7 mm or 9.5 mm thickness, and use the SATA interface.

Older models featured as little as 810 MB and used the PATA interface. A 1.8" form factor was also offered. All are now no longer manufactured but some models are available in the aftermarket.
