HD 290327 is a 9th magnitude G-type subgiant star located approximately 180 light years away in the constellation Orion. This star is larger, cooler, fainter, and less massive than our Sun. Also its metal content is seven-ninths as much as the Sun. In 2009, a gas giant planet was found in orbit around the star.[2]
