H.N.I.C. Pt. 2 is the second solo album by Queens rapper Prodigy of Mobb Deep. It was released on April 22, 2008.

Background

The album was released on April 22nd, 2008 under Voxonic Music. It is a sequel to H.N.I.C., released in 2000. H.N.I.C. is an abbreviation for, Head Nigga In Charge.

Music

Production

The album features production by The Alchemist, Sid Roams, Havoc and Apex.

Guests

The album features guest appearances from artists that frequently work with Prodigy, including Havoc, Un Pacino, Nyce, Big Noyd, Twin Gambino and Cormega.[2]

Bonus tracks

The track "Dirty New Yorker", which is in Grand Theft Auto IV, is listed as a bonus track. The Voxonic Spanish mix of "ABC" is also listed as a bonus track. The Circuit City version contains three bonus tracks, "Represent Me", "Get Trapped" & "Sleep When I'm Dead."

H.N.I.C. 2 "The Video Collection"

The song's video can be found on H.N.I.C. 2 "The Video Collection", along with a video for every song on the H.N.I.C. 2. Before his incarceration Prodigy made a music video for every song on the album, including one which is digitally animated most likely because Prodigy ran out of time to finish shooting videos for every song. H.N.I.C. 2 The Video Collection was released on July 8, 2008.

Leftovers

The only leftover that is known is the song titled "Represent Me", which is sampled from the Montclairs' song "Baby (You Know I'm Gonna Miss You)". The reason for the track not making it on the album is more than likely, a sample clearance problem.
