Brito, real name Hércules de Brito Ruas, (born 9 August 1939 in Rio de Janeiro) is a former Brazilian footballer. He played as a central defender for several clubs, and for the Brazilian national team.

He won Placar's Bola de Prata (Silver Ball) award in 1970,[1]

National team

Brito has 45 caps with the Brazilian national team between 1964 and 1972.

He won the Football World Cup 1970 with the Brazilian national team. He also played the Football World Cup 1966 (one game against Portugal).[2]
