Gustav Karl Laube

Gustav Karl Laube (February 8, 1839, Teplitz April 12, 1923, Prague) was a Bohemian German geologist and paleontologist.

In 1871 Laube became professor mineralogy and geology of the technical university in Prague, in 1876 professor of geology and paleontology at the German Charles-Ferdinand University in Prague.

He was active in geological research of Ore Mountains and neighbouring areas. He also served as geologist of a German polar expedition.
