Guo Qi (Chinese: 郭琦;[1] born January 27, 1995 in Jiangsu) is a Chinese chess player who holds the titles of International master[2] and Woman Grandmaster.
She won the World Junior Chess Championship (Girls) in 2012. As of April 2015, she is ranked world no. 3 girl player, world no. 90 junior player, and world no. 42 woman player.
She competed in the Women's World Chess Championship 2012 but was eliminated in the first round. In 2013 she took part in the Chinese women's team which won the silver medal in the World Team Chess Championship.
She won a silver medal as the no. 5 player in the Chinese women's team in the 41st Chess Olympiad.
She took part in the Women's World Chess Championship 2015 (knock-out), but was knocked out in the first round by Natalija Pogonina.
