Guntakal Railway Division is one of the six divisions of South Central Railway zone (SCR) of the Indian Railways.[1] The headquarters of the division is at Guntakal and its zonal headquarters is at Secunderabad. Guntakal Division is Uni Gauge i.e Enitire Bg line Division

History

Guntakal division created in 1956 as part of the Southern Railway zone. It was transferred to South Central Railway zone on 2 October 1977.[2] It covers the states of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu.
