Gunnar Tolnæs (1879–1940)[1] was a Norwegian-born film actor who worked for most of his career in Denmark.
Early life
He was born in Oslo, Norway.[1]
Career
Tolnæs's film credits, all silent films, include:
- Children of the Streets (1914)
- One of the Many (1915)
- Himmelskibet (also known as 400 Million Miles from Earth) (1918)
- Sex in Chains (1928)
Most of his work was for Nordisk Film, a Danish film-production company.
Death
He died in Oslo at age 60 and is buried at the Vår Frelsers gravlund cemetery there.[2]
